PypeServer And NISD Webinar Highlights Steel Detailing With AutoCAD Advanced Steel And SDS2
Fabricating handrail and pipe from structural steel design models can be challenging, with lots of manual data entry required for each intersection. PypeServer’s Connect add-ons for both AutoCAD Advance Steel and SDS2 make it easy to fabricate handrail, pipe, hangers, and other model elements without any manual data entry at all.
In the upcoming joint webinar with the National Institute for Steel Detailing (NISD), PypeServer’s team will provide live demonstrations of how the software works, including integrations with AutoCAD Advanced Steel and SDS2.
Webinar Details:
Date: Thursday, July 18th
Time: 12:00 – 1:00 PM Pacific
Event Link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/89611288151
What to Expect
Webinar attendees can expect to learn how PypeServer’s Connect plug-ins for SDS2 and AutoCAD Advanced Steel simplify the selection of handrail, pipe, hangers, and components directly from the design model and send cut lists directly to PypeServer-driven tools without the need for any manual data entry.
The PypeServer team will showcase how the software maps model properties so they can be printed on part labels as text or a QR code and lets you preview data before sending your cut lists to the cutting station for fabrication.
Supported tools include HGG’s RoboRail and pipe profilers from Lincoln Electric (Vernon Tool), Lone Star Cutting Solutions, and pre-2020 Watts. In addition, PypeServer Lyte works with manual tools and automatic saws and linear positioners from TigerStop, RazorGage, Kentucky Gauge, Scotchman, RMT, and others.
